Photography.
As a photographer, I like to blend aesthetics on opposite ends of the spectrum. I use stylized references, like the hard light & glam of theatre, to bring out the soft, raw humanity of my subjects.
Even in my staged editorial portraiture, I try to find space for my subjects to play, so we can capture intimate moments, floating between the posed and the candid.
